My mother lives in Mbita. As such, my wife and I try as much as we can to visit there as often as we can. Mbita Point, as it’s commonly known, is situated on the shores of Lake Victoria. Lake Victoria is the world’s second-largest fresh water lake, and it’s shared by the African countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
